WSO: Shows beginning control of
writing, drawing, and art tools.
Activities: Quill Writing. Use the large craft feathers with a watercolor paint set for students to practice writing using quills. Pipe cleaners, pine straw, and many more objectives are alternatives if you do not have feathers.
Chalk/Crayon/Marker Murals. Using writing tools does not have to mean writing words or letters. Allow students to practice with writing tools, how to hold them, how to utilize them through artistic expression.
